Hello everyone I have finished my tam a week ago actually and have been wearing it everyday since. Here it is.
Very easy to knit and lots of fun.

On the Needles

I keep telling myself that if I have more than one project on the go I will knit faster to get them all done, I keep saying it but it is not happening, at the moment I have 3 and several in the queue. In my Jan.1st post I showed my beautiful Jacket that I am hoping to get to soon, here is another I just bought to yarn for,

Greek Runners

What a funny heading but then I do like to run and knit this sweater is my most resent project, the sweater pattern is called Paper Dolls design by Kate Davies,
but the Greek runners was designed by Nicole Nehrig you can find her here. I will make the Sweater in the original pattern soon but thought the runners was most appropriate.

New Year's Resolution

Happy New Year to all, I hope you all had lots to eat and drink(in moderation)and all round merry making. I have made a resolution today that I am going to blog at lease once a month and if I get to do more all the better. It has been at lease a year and although I have not stopped knitting I have not been blogging about it. My big thing these days is Fair isle knitting I have just finished a sweater by Kate Davies an amazing knitter/designer you can find her on Ravelry and her website. I have also bought her 3 hat patterns called The Hats of Midlothian and the coup-de-gras is the Christmas gift I gave myself a kit from Jade Starmore The Elizabethan Jacket, to die for. And to end this post the piece I am working on now is from Debbie Bliss Fall/Winter 2011 magazine #4 Fair Isle Sweater. I will up date with pictures soon.

Its Been a While

It has been 2 years since my last post, and a lot has happened in that time, like so many others out there I lost my job and got a job I ran 2 more marathons and went to Europe for a vacation with my husband, time just seem to be whizzing by and I don't feel as if I am in control sometimes, and through it all I have my knitting and I have been knitting I will have some pictures for next time but for now. I just wanted to start blogging again. Thanks to all who has visited my blog.

Thanksgiving

I have been so busy at work and training for my 13 Marathon that I have not had much time to blog. This year we had 20 for thanksgiving Dinner, at first I had decided not to do anything just the family, (kids and husband) but that all changed when the extended family called and ask what time to come for dinner and after thinking about it we did have a lot to be thankful for with my husband being so very ill a couple months ago. I have pictures and will up load soon. Now to knitting the new Debbie Bliss Magazine is a must have I have just finished the the all over cable with zipper for my oldest son and am starting on the all over cable blue with hood for my youngest, but there are so many wonderful patterns it is worth getting.

The Yarn Harlot speaks

Last evening I went to the York Region knitting guild( Aurora Ontario Canada for those outside my realm) meeting to see and hear Stephanie Pearl-Mcphee. Most of you know her as the Yarn Harlot. It was a great night and yes she is really funny. She will be appearing in the UK soon so go see her if you can. All in all a fun evening. I got my book signed and a picture taken with her.
