Lucille

I am in the process of knitting a stunning sweater and her name is Lucille. Lucille is from Jaeger book #JB25 and the yarn is 40% Silk, 35% Cotton, 25% Polyamide it is so soft. I was hoping to finish it to where out next Wednesday when I go to dinner with some girlfriends but I have only finished the back and not even halfway through the front oh well I should be finished by the following week I hope.

Louisa Harding

I have just received a new book of patterns form my favourate Knit designer Louisa Harding and there are so many of her patterns I would like to knit. I wish I could spend my days running in the morning and knitting the rest of the day . There just does not seem to be enough hours in my day.

Yarn for my Carolyn sweater

It is here. I ordered the yarn for my Carolyn sweater last Thursday and received it today.

Not knitting but just as good (Before)

I have been inspired by Jennifer Thurston from xterem-knitting to hit the kitchen and bake, so I made a easy but delicious fruit cake for my husband and myself here are some before and after pictures my husband had a slice still warm from the oven.

House Coat up date

Progress has been made on the house coat I am making as a Christmas present. This is a beautiful lace pattern worked on 3 different size needles it will take some time to complete.I think I will do the sleeves when I am finished the back, (see picture) I won't show it again until I am finished.

Long Run

It has been brought to my attention that I have not commented on my running at all on my blog. Well to rectify that I will tell you what kind of millage I am putting in this weekend. Tomorrow (Saturday) The weather is looking to be a bit warmer than previous weekends I will do 20 miles and 10 on Sunday when the weather gets cold again. I am training for the Boston Marathon which is in April, I will have to take pictures. Over the past 8 years since starting running marathons I have done 11 marathons this will be my 12th.

Instant Gratification

Another project done. This is what I like to call Instant Gratification, from start to finish 3 evenings and it looks great. I wore it to work and had great feed back. I have completed my sister's Birthday sweater and mailed it off to her. I hope she likes it and that it fits. Above is a photo, I have asked her to take a picture in it so you can all see it on.
