The Yarn Harlot speaks

Last evening I went to the York Region knitting guild( Aurora Ontario Canada for those outside my realm) meeting to see and hear Stephanie Pearl-Mcphee. Most of you know her as the Yarn Harlot. It was a great night and yes she is really funny. She will be appearing in the UK soon so go see her if you can. All in all a fun evening. I got my book signed and a picture taken with her.

I am back

Hello everyone it has been a while since my last entry but I am back and I am going to be diligent about keeping up to date. Lots have happened over the past 9 months. I lost my job of 10 years sad the company has gone under as so many have, but I am happy to say I am working again. My husband was ill and is now on the mend. It was a reality check and one gets to realize what is really important in life. Through it all I had my running and my knitting. I have lots of finished projects to show, here are a few.

I am also doing my part for the environment and knitting these wonderful shopping bags. I have made 2 so far and everyone on my Christmas list will be getting one.
